Initial Sales of BANZAI Branded Products Show Promise for a Successful Season
Los Angeles, CA – (April 24, 2007) Banzai, ToyQuest’s line of innovative seasonal outdoor products, is off to a good start at retail this year. Preliminary sales data shows extremely positive results for the newly branded line. For example, Banzai Sidewinder Falls, a blower powered inflatable with a curved slide with a $499.99 SRP, has already achieved a 35% sell-thru at most retailers.
“Sales on all of the Banzai branded items are performing extremely well,” states George Funk, ToyQuest’s Vice President of Sales. “We couldn’t have hoped for better results.”
Banzai, formerly licensed with Six Flags Theme Parks, is compromised of a variety products including the popular blower powered inflatable water slides and bouncers, mat water slides, water and foam blasters, inflatable pools and pool toys, and backyard activities.
“I couldn’t be more pleased with the success we’ve already seen, especially so early in the season,” states Brian Dubinsky, President. “The Banzai brand is synonymous with safe, extreme, outdoor, summertime fun. We’ve applied these core attributes to our products to cater to the specific needs and desires of children and their parents all across the country. Because of its popularity, I predict we may have difficulties keeping up with the demand of several Banzai products this year. “
Banzai has received numerous media recognitions as well; examples include placement on Toy Wishes 2006 and 2007 Hot Dozen lists, a nomination for the 2006 Toy of the Year by the Toy Industry Association, appearances on Live with Regis and Kelly, Fox 11 Morning News Los Angeles, and feature article in The Los Angeles Times.
