Touch Table EES: Revolutionary Electronic Edutainment System Hits Retail This Fall
February 17, 2008 (Los Angeles, CA)– ToyQuest, a toy company known for creativity, innovation and uniqueness as seen in Tekno-The Robotic Puppy and the Blue Man Group Musical Instruments, has developed yet another revolutionary product. The Touch Table EES, otherwise known as the Touch Table Electronic Edutainment System, is a truly remarkable electronic table that allows children to interact with state-of-the-art touch screen technology.
The Touch Table EES is a complete entertainment system including a 21” screen and touch surface, built-in DVD player, speakers, and A/V, USB and SD inputs. The monitor lays flat or tilts upright for television style viewing or video game playing.
Children, core demo between the ages of 5-11, can interact with the table’s internal content by simply touching the screen’s surface. It has pre-loaded licensed content and dozens of fun games and activities, such as math and trivia games, puzzles, a virtual keyboard, action games, an entire globe to spin and explore, and much more. You can upload your digital pictures, edit and manipulate them or plug in your game console and play video games.
“The Touch Table EES is a very exciting project for us. With the recent success of other touch surface devices such as the iPhone, the future clearly points to this type of fully interactive technology,” states Avi Rosenstein, ToyQuest Product Manager. “Kids love to touch and feel and this literally gives them an interactive, hands-on approach to learning, gaming and simply having fun!”
The Touch Table EES retails for $499 and will be available at mass retail this fall. Additional licensed content packs are expected to release spring 2009.
