ToyQuest Offers BEST SUMMER JOB in the WORLD
Los Angeles, CA (2/6/09) – ToyQuest, a LA-based toy company, has launched a nationwide search for candidates for the best summer job in the world – earning big bucks to test and play with BANZAI toys.
The job pays $100 per hour, includes free roundtrip airfares from the successful applicant’s home state to Los Angeles, California and hotel accommodations.
In return, the “BANZAI toy tester” will be expected to play with currently released toys as well as product concept samples, all from the wildly popular BANZAI seasonal line, and report back to the ToyQuest development and creative teams. BANZAI toys include fun constant air water slides, huge bouncers, exciting sprinklers, awesome water and foam blasters, exhilarating pool toys, and other cool summer items.
The winner must be energetic, outgoing, creative, and at least nine years of age.
“He or she will need to discuss their impression of the toys with our team, so it is important that the candidate is a creative speaker. The BANZAI tester must have lots of energy and love the sun and water,” says Vice President of Product Development Brett Bogar.
“The fact that they will be paid to play with toys, outdoors, in sunny California makes this undoubtedly the best job in the world.”
Bogar said that although goal of the campaign was to find ways to improve the line of BANZAI product, it was just as important to give back to a child and their family in these tough economic times.
“We are looking for a kid who not only wants to get ‘paid to play’, but who really wants to do some thrilling work as well as receive a great vacation," he said. "The reality is a lot of families don’t have the extra finances to travel these days.”
"The child will be expected to really immerse himself in the BANZAI brand. Every product will create a different experience and his/her job will be to communicate those experiences to our team. We want to make sure the BANZAI brand is top of mind for parents and children this summer.”
